Heritage & Early Inspiration

My jewelry journey began in childhood, shaped by my grandmothers who cared for me while my mother raised me as a single parent. With Spanish roots and Finnish heritage, they saw jewelry as investment, luxury, and tradition. Even with little money, they saved for pieces to cherish and pass down a legacy that shaped my vision.

My Journey

As I grew older, my relationship with jewelry became complicated. I bought trendy pieces that tarnished quickly or irritated my skin. Living with eczema and an allergy to silver, I learned how important safe, lasting, and trustworthy jewelry truly is.

Learning the Trade

I spent four years in the luxury jewelry industry, working from production assistant to inventory manager. Along the way, I curated gemstones and diamonds for private clients and collections, and earned formal diplomas in gemology and rough diamond grading. These experiences gave me the foundation to build a brand rooted in integrity, craftsmanship, and transparency.

Why Fina Jewelry®

At 31 years old, I took a leap and launched Fina Jewelry® in Montreal, Canada. In 2024, I registered the business, and by 2025, the brand officially launched.
